My favorite thing to do as soon as summer break began, was hit the pool at my grandparents' neighborhood. It was nice because they had a little section in the shallow end with jets like a hot tub. It was so luxurious for a kid to enjoy. :)

Thank you for your post! Both my son and daughter just graduated college and are currently trying to find a job....in a scary market. Anyway, the first thing they did the day after was post on FB pics of their graduation. The night of graduation, we celebrated our daughter and son-in-law's first year anniversary (he's in the service) AND our son proposed to his girlfriend in a restaurant with all of us there. We spent the day after traveling home. They both start graduate studies in the Fall...so they are enjoying the summer immensely. Blessings to all!

On the first day of summer vacation we always spent it in of PJ's. Yes - all day! It is a tradition, we sleep late - eat fresh fruit and play games! And we plan out all the great activities we are going to do for the rest of the summer.
